Background

With the background tool, drag out a patch — a rule, a border, the grain of the paper — and it repeats under the composition. Measured in points like everything else, so it holds its size against the type.

Rotation

Drag the round handle above the selected box to turn it. Hold shift while turning to snap to whole degrees. A new box starts at the em square's angle, so on a page with one skew you set it once.
