Käytän redditin selailuun Reddit is fun appia, josta löytyy subreddittien blokkaus ominaisuus joka piilottaa ne kaikista syötteistä. Viimeisen parin vuoden aikana kun olen selaillut redditin etusivua ja /r/all:ia olen blokannut sellaiset subredditit joissa on ollut tavalla tai toisella toksista tai väkivaltaista sisältöä.
Nyt suurin osa redditin sisällöstä on minulle eläin- ja pelivideoita sekä antiwork juttuja.
Iso osa redditin koukuttavuudesta on hävinnyt kun sisältö ei enää perustu toisten ihmisten tai eläinten ahdinkoon ja on huomannut että siellä on aika vähän oikeasti mielenkiintoista ja vaihtelevaa sisältöä.
